Truly great news! Please keep us Bulldogs who live across great distances abreast of the Bulldogs football team. Thanks.

(I've added a page with the football schedule and will try to post scores as soon as possible. - Paul)

Paul, when is Homecoming? Would be fun to get an alumni section together to cheer on the Bulldogs.

(I checked the Pasco School District calendar, but it doesn't list Homecoming. Somebody out there must know when it is. I do know that Kennewick plays at Pasco on 10/26. Their last game is on the road in Yakima on 11/1. - Paul)

Thanks Paul... It [Bomber - Bulldog game] made for a good conversation with my Bomber husband this morning.

I just discovered this site while looking at the '63 web page. I'm from the class of "Route 66" and have enjoyed perusing some of the entries, though only Marcia Bailie and Rick Sandquist from our class.
Seems there are many who remember the Columbians, I played with them from 61 - 66 and consider it one of the best experiences in my life.
After several years of moving around, being a "back-to-the-lander" in North Idaho, living in Seattle and going to UW, etc, my wife, Cherry Webber '63 (formerly married to Dave Dalthorp '63) and I moved to Morrow County, Oregon. She teaches in Heppner, pop. 1500. We have been here over 21 years now, but still get back to Pasco as its only 70 miles and 20 years ahead, from home. Currently our daughter, Laurel is living with Cherry's mom on West Court and teaching in Burbank.
There are many things I remember, like the Flume, that seem to be unique to our growing up. I see Bill Reinhardt '65 often, he is in Portland, as is his sister Gaye '68.

  To Alan Taylor:
I see you've been at this for a while. Sorry we didn't hook up at Arlington this year. Someone mentioned Bob Herbig, he lives out of Pendleton, up the Umatilla River just past the Reservation, in a new log home. He got me into the Pendleton Roundup Mounted Band back in 1988. I still play with them. It's a horseback band and playing the trombone on one is a helluva lot of fun. If anyone in the area has this Friday and Saturday off, come to Pendleton for a good time.
  Let 'Er Buck!

  To Paul Case,
As an old drum corps person and Pascoite, thought I'd let you know that if you're ever in Emmett, ID, there is a drive-in with real honest to goodness car hops. I have a job with USDA's Farm Service Agency that has me travel all over Oregon and sometimes I have collateral duties which take me to Washington and Idaho, where I found the drive-in.
I remember working with Ray Amstad and Claire Foley at Memorial pool in the early 60's. I had the job of cleaning the wading pool and filling it each day. For that I got a season pass and the luxury of "hanging out" with those older people at the pool before it opened in the afternoon. The women never seemed as beautiful to this "then" 12 or 13 year old. Keep of the great work on the site.
