Sounds like you worked for Van Wakley...uncle to all the Burns kids, Beverly, Deena, Lila, Butch, Doug, Rodney, and two more. Van was a brother to Willetta Burns and Mrs. Jesernig. (Yes, Jim Jesernig's Mom.)
Farming, truck driving and cooking for harvest, gave lots of our local youth seasonal jobs and good work ethics.

I was there.....Where were you? It was wonderful to see the old purple and white uniforms of the Bulldogs on the field last night.......I came home soaked because of the rain but it was worth it......I looked for familiar faces but to no avail...........I hope you were there because it felt great !!!!!
