I got the real skinny. None of the schools in our league count Freshmen for athletics. Theoretically 9th graders cannot be on varsity teams so they don't count. We don't count them at Ke HS either, for sports. Now we both know. Anyway Pasco has about 2500 students if you count the 9th graders. That's a lot of kids. When I was at Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick we had a 16 year old 8th grader set a bunch of track records. Go figure.
If anyone knows Nell (62), my sister, call her and tell her to get a computer which will do e-mail. She is stuck sitting with her husband who had a stroke about 5 years ago and does not realize what she is missing. That's Nell Fleming Van Lear.
