  Hi Stacy Wise,
Did you know that Jim Morrison (60) is in Scottsdale, AZ? Bet he's in the phone book. Kay Washburn (60, Washburn Music & Jerry's sister) used to be in that area also.

  Hi Paul,
Sure am enjoying this network of wonderful Bulldog reminiscers. I recognize many names.

Well, one more Bulldog in the Seattle area. We just spent a couple days moving my oldest son, Jeremiah (97) to Mercer Island. You wouldn't believe how much fun it is to pull a 6 x 18-foot trailer around in Seattle Labor Day weekend traffic!

It's been awful quiet out there this past week. What's going on? There must have been a few reunions this summer to talk about.

PHS grows again - up to 2,295 students starting the year. Holy cow, couldn't have been more than what, 1,200 in the 60s? Should make for another good football season, huh? Any predictions?

  To Alan Taylor:
Hi guy. Long time no . . . anything, unless you are in one of my dormant  brain cells which awaken slightly during reunions. I do remember you played a mean trumpet. Thanks for site on the corps.

  To Paul Case:
I AM safe from being extradited. Dip immunity goes a long way.

  For anyone interested:
Yesterday I met with a 16 year old girl who had escaped from the guerillas in the middle of the night by stealing a motorcycle. I'm still shook up from her story. She joined when she was 12 when the FARC [Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, aka thugs into drugs] promised her a salary she could send to her poor mother, after her older sister was killed by those same guerillas for refusing to join. Turns out most of the "soldiers" are kids intimidated into joining this so-called rebellion financed by cocaine money. More than 3 years later she had never seen a centavo of salary or her family. FARC leaders told her: "If you desert, we kill your family, and the Colombian army will kill you on sight since they can identify you from your only boots marked FARC [the latter part, a lie]." She had seen hard combat. This Latin version of the Khmer Rouge continues to finance itself thanks to the willingness of U.S. and European consumers to sniff the white stuff. So please lay a guilt trip on any coke users you know.
