Thanks a bunch for keeping us all so informed. I am looking forward to a visit with Mary Lou Shiley this weekend in Chelan. It's a beautiful place and not all of it is BURNING up.

Semi-retired in central Washington, enjoying grandmothering and watching hubby's garden grow as I cool my heels under the very large walnut tree in our front yard only one block from center of town.

Enjoy hearing from classmates at[contact PHS Alumni On-Line to get in touch with Dottie].

Comment from the Aged
Hello to you, too, Tom Brandon, and I didn't miss the bit about Meeks and me being much older than you -- in your dreams -- older like a fine wine, right?

Having fun reading all the alumni-itus!

To all Class of `67 alumni:
If you plan to attend the reunion on August 9 - 11, PLEASE RSVP and send in your money ASAP to Patti Scharf Noakes. E-mail me if you need the address. Planning a reunion is a difficult job and guesstimating attendance is next to impossible. The committee must have a reasonably accurate count to plan for food and beverages. Please help out the great folks who have spent many, many hours planning our 35-year reunion and respond quickly. Reunion info is on the PHS Alumni web site at https://phsbulldogsonline.tripod.com/phs_1967_reunion.htm

Field Turf is going down at Edgar Brown! I'll have some pictures on the web site in the next week or so. The Nike Air Pasco fitting also begins today. You can read a Tri-City Herald story about the Field Turf installation and the Air Pasco shoe fitting at http://www.tri-cityherald.com/news/2002/0719/story1.html

To Mary Jo Cravens Schaefers:
You have a great annual event just south of you if you're an oyster lover. Oyster Fest is held in Shelton, WA, just a few miles south of Hoodsport, the first weekend in October and it's a great event. Although the focus is on oysters, there's lots of other seafood plus wine and micro brewed beers, as well as traditional fare such as hot dogs, ice cream, etc. The oyster-shucking contest is fun to watch, too. And oysters prepared every way you can imagine - and then some! Raw is definitely the best! There's a web page with info at http://www.oysterfest.org/

To Joann St. Pierre Donohue:
I can't believe anybody else remembers fluming. I did a ton of fluming when I was working out near Ringold, on an alfalfa ranch. As I recall, it was not the smartest and safest thing for us to do, but then we were young, eh? Also, we did a bit of water skiing behind a pick-up truck in the water canals, with the truck pulling us along the adjacent road. Thanks for bringing this one up, and rekindling my memory of fluming.

To my sister, Linda Williams:
If you read the above, and tell Mom and Dad, that I was fluming, I'll deny it.

I'm Ron (PHS `63) & Larry (PHS `64) Richwine's MUCH younger sister, Lisa (PHS `83). Ron and Larry both passed away in 1999 and I was wondering if any of their classmates might pass on some memories of my brothers that I can forward on to their kids. I thought it would be nice for them to know a little about their dads from those that "knew them when."

Thanks!
