What a great idea! Nona (Warren) Janes passed her PHS alumni e-mails to me a few days ago much to my delight. I have often wondered where everyone calls home now days, & what they've been up to all these years. I really enjoy reading about other's memories (& escapades!) of good ol' Pasco High.
I, too, attended kindergarten through 12th grade in Pasco, (with the exception of 3rd to 6th grade in Kennewick) & have fond memories of those years, & my classmates. I remember my mother walking me back to kindergarten, after I ran home, because Bobby Greenwell "scared" me, in class. It wasn't funny then, but it is now. Jr. High at the old navy base, the "sweet shop" in downtown Pasco, when 20th avenue used to be Chase Street … you can tell when you are talking to an old-timer when they know what you mean when you mention Avenue "C" … remembering riding the school bus & past Wattenburger's house, which was "in the country" then.

Please add my name to your subscription list. I'm looking forward to receiving news of all my former classmates & friends.

To Marcia Meyers:
What ever happened to your sister Sally and do you know anything else about any of the other Struthers boys? I use to baby-sit the younger ones.

Note to Paul:
Thanks again for your work on this site. I've heard from several old friends and the brother of another. Thanks too for looking out for us related to the privacy issue. I have no objection to posting the names and classes of subscribers.

All the memories of Col. Gregson brought up a few of my own. I don't recall ever skipping school (my folks would have killed me), but when I was a senior and nearing graduation, one of the first nice, sunny days was too much for me ... and about 10 of my friends. We piled in the car (probably Valerie Eby's - few of us had cars back then) and drove to Wallula, where there used to be a lake and sand dunes, and spent the day sunbathing. We all showed up at school the next day with varying excuses, but identical sunburns. I have never had a worse burn - all I could wear to bed that night was Noxema! Anyway, Mr. Gregson must have been somewhat amused because none of us received any punishment - except being called into his office and having to try to explain our very lame excuses. He was a great man and a positive influence on many.

Re: listing alumni e-mail addresses on-line:
A great idea, but is there any way it can be done, say with an access code to the list, and only give the access number to subscribers, and let those without the access code access the list by 1) getting the code from another alumni, 2) getting the code from one or two designated "guards" of the access number or something so the perverts and mass mail-types can't abuse the site? I would love to get on the list, if Sandra Green hasn't put me on yet, but not at the expense of getting a lot of unsolicited garbage emails.

[Passwords might provide some security, but I need to keep this simple - for me. I'll plan to only put name, class year, and city, state, & country of those who have provided that info. - Paul]

Paul,
Your internet privacy policy is fair and responsible. I appreciate the interest you display in keeping things available but not putting them out so that we get inundated with junk mail.
I have no problem if you wish to use my location in connection with the list of alumni from 1966.

Regards,

Sounds like a super idea to have a list of names and new addresses of former friends. I sure don't have a problem with it. Thanks for asking.

Hello PHS Alumni!
I was happy to find this online program for alumni. I married a Bomber (not to worry, my kids are being raised Bulldogs!) and she gets the Bomber Sandstorm so it will be nice to see some Bulldog stuff!

Class of `77 rules!

Hello Bulldogs!
Ten years have come and gone and unfortunately I missed our big reunion. Most of my family consists of alumni: Don Goulet (61), David Goulet (84) and Christopher Poll (94). All is well with the Goulet, Poll, Damon, and Bradshaw clan. Don is definitely ready for retirement the "old goat" is truly feeling his age now, but what a Grandpa he is … a sucker for everything. David, wife, and 3 boys are still here, too, and they are so busy I can't even keep up with their schedule. Christopher and wife are expecting their first child in August, supposedly a girl. They live in Utah and anyone interested in contacting him (or Don or David) can send an email to me. As for me, I am (still) going to school and working at Battelle. A never-ending story there … I have the great honor in working with Kentin Alford (won't he love that line?) in my new position.

Keep supporting the new stadium - they can use all the help they can get. Keep your eyes open to see how many alumni are wearing the new Nike "Air Pasco" in June.
