Has anyone heard from or about Leon Bingham? He was a friend of mine in high school.

Paul,
Here is the updated copy of PHS Boys' BB scores with the just completed season. I was hoping that during the course of last year that some of the team players that are missing would have been added in. Oh well -- maybe this year???

Lorin St. John (`55 RHS)
[Many thanks to Lorin for his efforts to keep these sports stats updated! I've updated the Bulldog basketball history file that you can open from the "Links To Other Swell Web Sites" page on the PHS Alumni web site. I encourage anyone who can fill in any blanks, like names of team players for past years, to please send that information to Lorin or to me. Thanks! - Paul]

Is it too early??? 45th reunion in 2004?
Hi all. I realize it probably is too early, but now at the age of 62 my reaction/response time my has slowed somewhat. Ann says, "more than somewhat."
Are there plans afoot for our 45th? Now that I'm back "in-country," following many years in Canada, I'm offering my services to a PHS 1959 reunion committee. I'm currently living in Vancouver, WA and travel monthly to Kennewick visiting family and also to escape our seemingly incessant rain here.

As an aside; "Doc," I apologize for walking off with your microphone during the 1994 reunion banquet. Each time I think of that incident, my face flushes with embarrassment.

Again, if there is anything I can do to advance the workings of a `59 reunion committee please let me know.

Best regards to all PHS grads.

Hi. Great news about the girls and guys basketball teams. Still in sunny Yuma till April 9th. Great golfing weather here and sure a lot to do. Meet lots of nice people from all over. Would like to hear from some former classmates of old PHS.

I remember being in John Moffet's Mechanical Drawing Class, when Dennis Rothwell got into Mr. Moffet's desk, took out his sandwich and put Vanilla Tape in it.
It was a Great Joke. WRONG!
Mr. Moffet took almost the whole class, one by one out into the hall, and proceeded to give us the, "Who did it or else?" I think Mr. Moffet almost wiped the smile off my face. Dennis finally confessed to Mr. Moffet, and as I last remember, Mr. Moffet almost carried Dennis to the office. Nobody ever thought of getting into Mr. Moffet's desk again after that.
Mr. Moffet and I are still good friends, and I enjoy meeting with him when I'm visiting in Pasco. He is a good teacher and a great friend.

Hi Terry Phillips!!
Sorry I don't know about Gary Lane, but on the car subject -- do you remember the white `48 Chevy coupe that my brothers John, Jim, Pat and I all drove? It had a push-button starter on the dash and a suicide knob! So, put us on the car list :)

Also, re: girl's sports: there was girl's basketball before 1968, as I was on a team that played other schools, and we even went to WSU to play in a tournament. (maybe it wasn't called a state tournament, but if I remember right, we came in 2nd.) And, maybe it wasn't an "official" team sport because we didn't get in the yearbook.

A challenge for the Class of `67:
I would like to see at least eight letters from that class by the end of the week! Come on friends, let's show some support for this site. Remembering old girlfriends, boyfriends, strange dates, great dates, first cars, parent-troubles. (I didn't even drink but one night at the drive-in movie, the guy I was with popped the top on a brew and immediately we were arrested. A police car came to lug us off to the station and our parents were called. One night in jail!! One open beer at a drive-in and no one even got a sip!!! (I didn't realize they had spies walking around checking cars -- did you??? Oh well, just one of those stupid things. It seems sooooo tame compared to today's problems! Come on `67 -- I want to see names and stories (not about me of course)!! Ha ha ha ha
