I've just returned home after watching the Pasco High boys' and girls' basketball teams win their games. What a treat to see them play. What I miss most about leaving the Tri-Cities is watching Pasco High sports. It was interesting to see several players that I enjoyed watching a few years ago now coaching at Pasco and obviously doing a great job. Congratulations to both teams for great seasons and for qualifying for the state tournament.

Hi Paul,
I want to thank you for your great effort in trying to keep the PHS Alumni connected. I look forward to your bulletins and sometimes there is a long dry spell between issues. We need more people to jump into the fray and share there experiences and whereabouts.
I recognize most names from 1958-62 and that is a pretty good attention span for someone my age. I envy those who live in the southwest when I read the paper and it is 75 in Phoenix and 32 in Spokane. Yesterday I cleaned up my motorcycle in anticipation of a Sunday ride and this morning it was snowing, so much for that.

Hi to Don Evans and Irma Jean who seem to write regularly, keep those e-mails coming.

Greetings Fellow Bulldogs,
I read Jean Ryckman's well deserved "brag" about Jan Peterson and thought I'd add another name to the Bulldog "brag" list.
I was in Washington DC last week working on some DOE issues, and attending the Nuclear Cleanup Caucus, which deals with all Federal Cleanup Sites across the country. Doc Hastings (`59) serves as Chairman of this Caucus, and works with a number of elected officials and Congressional Staff on some significant and emotional impacts created by the DOE presence in their communities. I just wanted to share with all of you how proud we can be of Doc and the job he does. Every person I spoke with, regardless of party affiliation, praised Doc. As a Congressman, as a leader, and particularly as a person.
In the Washington DC environment, I think anybody who is able to maintain their strength of character and individuality is to be commended. I can assure you, Doc is still the same good guy he has always been, and a highly respected member of Congress.

Keep up the good work on this site - it reminds us that Pasco was a great place to grow up.

Hi Paul,
I graduated in `68 from PHS. I wanted to let everyone know about a trade magazine that my wife and I were featured in for the December 2002 issue. It is a magazine for the window covering trade and as the cover story, it tells about my wife's drapery business, the history of the forty years, our high-tech efforts etc. It shows a picture of us and has the entire story on the site, if anyone is interested in reading it.

The link to the magazine and story is: http://www.dwconline.com/DWC/

Also, I was able to forward two pictures, one of Dick Forrester and second of Gregg Flieger to Darlene, the lady who was requesting pictures for a Vietnam memorial. Hopefully, the quality is good enough to use. Scanning pictures from the yearbook is certainly not the best.

[You can visit the memorial web site at http://www.facesfromthewall.com/ - Paul]

Does anyone know if there is to be a 35-year reunion for the class of `68?

Regards,
