Hi, Paul,
Here's a little bit of information for the archives:

John Hebert, class of (yike!) '56
Now living in Michigan, retired from both federal civil service and the army. Working part-time at a local library. Married 26 years to second wife; made the right decision the second time around. Four children; eight grandchildren. Also an (ahem) award-winning freelance columnist for a local weekly newspaper (circ about 100K). Loss of hear apparently being compensated for by gain of weight.

In reply to Paul Case's info about 4 yr. school:
I remember when the 9th grade (1956), was taken from Pasco High and put back into the Junior High. My class of '60 thought we would soon be at PHS with the BIG GUYS . . . and much to our disappointment, the freshman class ended up back at Jr. Hi instead. We were the class at the top of Jr. Hi for two years, 8th and 9th grade. We got to lord it over the under classmen for two years. Do you remember that class of '61 and '62???? We had fun though. Then we rushed thru PHS in three years, whereas it had taken the classes prior to ours 4 years to get through. Chuckle!!! Lucky Jr. Hi teachers to have us for an extra year . . . Mr. Stapler, Mr. Kosnick, Mr. Finke, Mrs. McFadden, Mrs. Racy, Miss Geiger, Mrs. Whiteside, Miss Rusick, Mrs. Mylaberg, Mr. Sibert, Jane Pauline, etc. Remember any of those teachers?
I remember a mass of girls slumber parties thru Jr. Hi and PHS. We celebrated everything...birthdays, ski trips with GAA and any other reason. I still shudder when I think of the lack of sleep we got and how we dragged through the next day. And who made those dumb calls to the teachers in the middle of the night . . . like: "Is Joe there?" (three times over). 4th call: "This is Joe. Have I had any calls?" How inconsiderate! What Teachers had to put up with!
It doesn't seem so funny any more.

Re: picture of 1102 West Margaret St:
For anybody like me who couldn't get the link in March 4's newsletter to work, try typing it in by hand. My email server (?) cut the 'pg' off the end, so it wouldn't work as a link. It should end in '.jpg'.

Nice picture, though. Wish I was there instead of Kentucky.
